Nice middle eastern restaurant that covers a range of cuisines from a range of countries, Visiting Mecca is a great experience with great decor and okay service.
This is a place to eat a great range of middle eastern food and drink a few too many cocktails.
The mezze platters are a fantastic way to share a whole range of flavours. Combine these with a few items from the grill and you have a great dining experience.
Went with an after work group. Pretty disappointed. Ordered the chicken Targine. Wasn't sure what to expect but found it pretty runny and bland. Hardly any vegies and the service was pretty slow.
The decor and atmosphere at Mecca is really nice. A modern take on morocco. The food itself is nice. I had a turkish pizza, i cant even remember the one i had (ekk! not a great sign). But i will say the beetroot salad was lovely. I think maybe next time i might try a meat dish as the ones i saw coming out had a nice aroma.
Absolutely brilliant service. Even restaurant full of customers on Friday evening is served within reasonable time. We turned up at 7pm with no reservation, were seated indoors by our choice. I had spicy calamari dish with bean salad, my partner had garlic chicken kebab with mjaddarah & tabbouleh...then we shared three scoops of absolutely beautiful ice-cream in flavours of halva, Turkish coffee and baked apple. We will be definitely coming back to try other dishes...Turkish pizza looks interesting and I think beetroot salad may be worth of trying to (since everyone on WOMO review it very well).
Approximate cost: $25
Beetroot salad is to die for. Great service, and friendly. First time my family's been to a restaurant for this type of food and all declared it's a winner
Must give it a go sometime.
We came for a birthday dinner and enjoyed the banquet option.
There was so much food it was ridiculous. The beetroot salad was awesome, but everything was tasty and delicious.
Drink service was fast and efficient. The only fault was when I arrived I was told they don't take bookings and couldn't direct me to my group of 12.
Beautiful looking restaurant.
Beautiful food and service.
Turkish pizza is the way to go.
Great place to catch up.
It has very good atmosphere.
Fabulous food - love the beetroot sald and pumpkin and feta pizza - great atmosphere and very reasonably priced.
The Mecca Bah is a restaurant I have been to many times and will continue to return. I have enjoyed it with my husband and also several friends who also love it. The food is awesome as is the service and it is highly recommended! Gotta try it.
Approximate cost: $18-25
I went to Mecca Bah with my husband and two friends last weekend based on my friends' suggestion.
The food was terrific. The flavours were divine, the colours were outstanding and although the portions looked small when they arrived there was enough food to satisfy us plus a fifth person.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is top-class. We sat in the shade outside on a balmy Brisbane day. The decor was very Moroccan but modern, the seats were relaxing, and I loved the beautiful crockery!
We didn't drink, so I can't rate the beverages.
I'd suggest a visit for an extraordinary experience!
Approximate cost: $23
