Love the food here! Food quality is really, really good. Generous portions, great prices, simply delicious. Staff is friendly too.
I have also been to their Sydney Potts Point venue and both are similar. I love the pork variety of gyoza and the dipping suace is scrumptioius.
This place is definitely worth hitting for a cheap and delicious meal! The food is incredibly good value for money, there is a decent variety of options available, and the atmosphere is electric (and very loud!). If you want a peaceful dining experience, this isn't it, with staff crying out "SAKE!" everytime it is ordered and poured, as well as equally loud greetings and farewells to each customer, but it's fun and enjoyable to be around when in the mood.
This is a lovely little gyoza bar, at a convenient location in Fortitude Valley. The place is always full of people - it's a very popular spot, it would seem. Sometimes hard to find a spot. The staff are lovely, and the place always has an energetic vibe. The food is tasty - I highly recommend the duck gyoza. Deeeelicious.
Thank you for the recommendation. Been wanting to go here.
Ate here with a friend one night after an early night out. Was quite impressed watching them cook. Love pork gyozas and they do them so well. Love fresh cooked foods . Place is a little cramped on the wall side and not room for a great deal of people but that makes it cosier and the service all the more faster. Loved the dumplings and was overall quite impressed for a small sushi bar
Thanks for the review I definitely have to get here and try the gyozas.
Ate here on Tuesday night while in Brisbane for work and I'm very pleased to hear they are going to be opening a restaurant in Sydney because it was great! Atmosphere was fun, it was quite busy for a Tuesday night but sitting at the bar was part of the fun, and although there aren't a huge number of dishes on the menu everything we had was delicious. Friendly staff and overall just a good night- inexpensive too we ordered too much food really and even with beers it was still reasonably priced.
Approximate cost: $8-11
Love this place!! We have an great time, great service and great food every time! They are super kid friendly and have a great atmosphere, Duck gyoza are to die for!
Approximate cost: $15
I read about this restaurant in The Good Guide and was very excited to try it out. I wasn't disappointed! I went there with two friends on a Tuesday night and it was busy, they do not take reservations so if you go on the weekend expect to wait a while at the bar.
The atmosphere is lots of fun at Harajuku Gyoza, the japanese beers are fantastic and if you order Sake the staff all cheer you on.
The selection of gyoza is quite large with options of steamed or fried fillings such as vegetarian, duck, pork and seafood. They also offer side dishes of edamame, tofu, pork and chicken.
Thanks. It's been recommended to me too so just waiting for the right time to go.
I had heard rumors about this place and after going myself I have not stopped spreading the word. This is a great little food bar where gyoza and beer flow freely. The fried dumplings were far superior and the duck was ridiculously good! Great beer, great gyoza and a cool crew of staff made for an enjoyable lunch. Still making excuses to go back! See you there!
Approximate cost: $5.50-$17
My office is very close to harajuku gyoza and we've all wanted ot go since it opened. We finally made it there and everyone loved it. We had eight people there including a vegetarian, a person with many dietetic restrictions and a very fussy eater (me!) and everyone loved their meals.
Can get quite busy sometimes, but we were there mid afternoon so it was okay =)
Approximate cost: $8
